Ipswich schools will share in more than 220 million investment across Queensland, improving school facilities and supporting more than 720 jobs.
Ipswich West MP Jim Madden said more than 3.6 million.
"Three blocks at Bundamba State Secondary College will each benefit from 1 million upgrade to its learning spaces.
"This upgrade will mean so much to the students and staff, and I look forward to seeing work start on this project and the other upgrades to schools across the Ipswich community," Ms Howard said.
"We're committed to delivering world-class education, and I'm really proud to be part of such an inclusive and supportive government for all Queenslanders."
Jordan MP Charis Mullen said Springfield Central State High School and Greenbank State School would both benefit from funding.
"More than 450,000 go towards the refurbishment of B Block."
Education Minister Grace Grace said the works would help support jobs for local tradies.
"We always encourage our schools to engage local tradespeople to complete maintenance works and smaller jobs in schools," Ms Grace said.
"Contractors and tradies who want to be notified of opportunities for any future tender processes for larger projects can register on the Queensland Government QTenders website, if they have not already done so."
